Handle fish carefully
Use appropriate tackle, minimize fight time where possible, keep handling brief, support the fish, and be ready before taking a photograph. The guide should decide when conditions make a photograph or release unsafe.
Protect the habitat
Do not discard line, leaders, hooks, packaging, food waste, or plastic. Avoid damaging seagrass, coral, and mangroves. Use only established access routes and leave the flats as you found them.
Respect wildlife and communities
Give wildlife space, keep noise reasonable, and follow local access guidance. A good day on the water should not come at the expense of the place that makes it possible.
